As people try to figure out that DJ Akademiks has lost his Instagram platform of 4.5 million followers, the podcast host is busy working on Off The Record. Akademiks followers noticed that his popular Instagram page was no longer available and it is speculated that he worked overtime to restore it. Meanwhile, Akademiks Off The Record The podcast hosted a look from Rowdy Rebel, and during the conversation, the Brooklyn rapper called out fellow New York artist Tekashi 6ix9ine for testifying against his friends and associates in the Nine Trey Gangsters.

Rowdy said he had no doubts that 6ix9ine would turn against Nine Trey, adding that his own collective, GS9, would never do such a thing. Akademiks kicked off the segment by stating that the New York rap scene had been dead for a while, but Rowdy called him out for hanging out with 6ix9ine.

“That pussy had a great run, son,” Rowdy said, also mentioning that as soon as he saw 6ix9ine was in legal trouble, he “knew” it was going to take a turn. “I’ve seen the toughest niggas bend under pressure in this room,” the rapper said. “He wasn’t even half as tough.” Akademiks wanted to know how Rowdy “predicted” the 6ix9ine scandal.

“He’s never been outside! He’s got no morals, no morals,” Rowdy said. Akademiks claimed Bobby Shmurda did a song with 6ix9ine but Rowdy was quick to say that Shmurda was rapping on the phone and it was recorded. “This is shit, this is shit… If I rap for you on the phone and you start recording me, what is it?”

Akademiks continued to argue the house on behalf of 6ix9ine claiming that no one could have known that the rapper would be cooperating with feds.

“Crazy niggas thought he was gonna say it, crazy rappers knew he was gonna say it,” Rowdy added. “Niggas was posting bullshit saying he was gonna say it. Stop messing with me. Niggas thought he was gonna fuck like fuckin’ pussies. Check out the clip below.
