Open to the public across Australia, the Melbourne International Film Festival’s MIFF Play platform has more films to release this year than it had in 2020. In fact, you would need to watch more than four films. per day to browse all of its features. before the platform closes on Sunday August 22.
It includes critically acclaimed documentaries such as Sisters With Transistors – the untold story of the women who paved the way for the early days of electronic music – and the breathtaking world of competitive table setting in Adjust!. There are terrifying thrillers across the divide, like Coming home in the dark, which tells of a healthy family trip to New Zealand that went very, very badly. There is a heartwarming romance in First year, who has been hailed as Generation Z Before sunrise. In addition, a selection of short films and XR experiences.
A movie stream can cost you $ 14, or $ 21 if it’s the MIFF closing movie, Language course, with Mark Duplass and Natalie Morales. But, for only a short time, the MIFF team is giving five people the chance to stream everything – or as much as humanly possible – through their MIFF Play Golden Couch Pass 2021.
Five moviegoers will be selected from a pool of entrants, and the winners will have access to the entire MIFF Play platform.

The contest will end at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday August 11. Five winners will be chosen, with passes issued Thursday, August 12.
