A Ghanaian afrobeat and dancehall artist, Mzvee said she appreciates the independence that comes with working on her music without having to sign for a label.
The musician who split from the Lynx Entertainment family a few years ago has since been producing her own music with a team she calls Team Mzvee (TMV).
Speaking about how the trip has been since leaving on United Showbiz, hitmaker ‘Daavi’ explained that despite several offers from various record companies in Ghana and abroad, she decided to stay. independent until any future decision to the contrary.
“I’ve had offers from the state, from Ghana here, I’ve had different offers but I like being alone.
“There is nothing more beautiful than to work and to see him evolve and be brilliant. And I love that feeling and I don’t want to change it for the world, ”she told host Nana Ama McBrown.
“You never know, maybe I can sign with someone or start my own label but for now, I like the fact that I’m alone,” she added.
MzVee also reiterated that contrary to much speculation and suggestion, his departure from Lynx Entertainment was discussed with his then manager, Richie and was for personal reasons only.
The talented singer has since produced several hit songs, including “Halleluyah” ft. Medikal, “Balance” ft. Sarkodie and Sheriff who was the first after her recovery.
